every room hold laughter and every
window open to great possibility.

Wish 13

More ladybugs from the Moseman family in Texas, also in the DTC group. Very cute poem!

Baby Girl Rainbows
At the end of this rainbow,
With light in our eyes,
You will see much magic,
Bringing greatest surprise.

A story of old,
At the end of this rainbow,
A wish and a song,
Just to help you along.

A pot of gold,
At the end of this rainbow,
Colours and hue,
Painted radiantly true.

At the end of this rainbow
Your dreams may come true
The end of this rainbow,
Is for New Baby Girl and you.

Wish 12

More cute ladybugs come from the Elsmo family from Virginia, in the Oct. DTC swap

11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (NIV)
Jeremiah 29: 11-13

Wish 11

This lovely wish comes from the Smith family in Louisiana, also a part of the Oct. DTC group swap. Danise wrote this poem herself. Very talented!

Heartbeat of the Father

Adoption was God's special plan from the start,
Not a physical birth from the body,
But with love born in the heart.

As you, dear child, were born in mine,
Also born of our heavenly Father,
His plan from the beginning of time.

You are loved beyond measure,
In ways I can't explain,
In you God has created a valuable treasure.

My heart fills with joy and anticipation,
As I wait to bring you home,
You are my precious child sent from another nation.

With you my family is complete,
Sealed in my heart forever,
Divinely reflecting our Father's own heartbeat.
By: Danise Smith

Wish 9

These squares come from the Hesterman's in Indiana, also a part of the Oct. DTC group. I will put one square in the quilt and the other in the scrapbook.

Life is like a patchwork quilt,
Pieces of joys and sorrow,
Laughter and tears,
Stitched together to form
The whole of our yesterdays,
Todays, and tomorrows.

Live, Laugh, Love, Dream

What lies behind us

us are small matters
compared to what lies
within us.

Being deeply loved by someone

And He shall give thee the desires
Of thine heart. Psalm 37:4

Wish 4

This wish comes from the Gibbons Family from Arizona. They are in the same Yahoo Oct. DTC group I am.

"Love is patient;
Love is kind and envies no one.
Love is never boastful,
nor conceited, nor rude;
never selfish, never quick to take offense.
There is nothing love cannot face;
there is no limit to its faith,
its hope, and endurance.
In a word, there are three things
that last forever: faith, hope, and love;
but the greatest of them all is love."
1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Square #1

I joined a quilt square swap on my DTC group, and the quilt squares have been flying in. The fabrics and wishes are all so pretty. Here's the first one, from the Silvers family in Missouri.

A diamond with a flaw is worth more than a pebble without imperfections. Chinese Proverb

Dear child,
No one is perfect. May you realize that your imperfections make you who you are. While you strive to do and be your best, realize that total perfection is unattainable.
