This wish is from my dear friend Pirjo. We met ten years ago, when I was teaching at her son's preschool. He is thirteen now! She helped me through a very hard time in my life(the death of my Mother), and we have stayed in contact ever since. She sent two fabrics. The first one is from a dress her sister made for her daughters while they were attending the preschool I taught at. The second one is from Finland, her home country. These fabrics are so special and I am so glad they will be a part of Sophie's Quilt!
